Our sukkah for the year 2011/5772:

Our wives and daughters are making decorations for the walls and "roof". A severe storm has left the ground littered with palm fronds, so the boys are offering to clean up our neighbors' yards in exchange for the palm fronds that will be used for the "roof".

We are going to build another at my pal's house tonight, a third at another friend's house, then have picnic suppers each night in each family's "booth".

Wow, Daniel. What fun! Thank you for sharing that with us.

(Wish I knew how he gets those photos uploaded to the forum! I feel like the Joker in the 80's movie, Batman": "Where does he get those wonderful toys?!")

This is where we had our supper tonight. We also sang "Joy to the World" and "Hark, Harold the Angel Sings".

Bigger crowd tonight.

3-families represented.
The two other men in the picture were my buddies who tried to reel me back into christianity.
(They failed!)
They have since repented (of christianity) and we will be having supper in their families' sukkah (sukkum?) this weekend.

Great witness!!..A sukkah says alot. A manger is a feed trough for animals and in that are probably many metaphors, but a sukkah can be seen by others and prompts questions from the curious. Wonderful job, Daniel.

Brother Daniel, seeing these photos has blessed me a great deal. And seeing the two brothers you helped bring out of the crucible of religion gave me a double portion. Thank you for sharing all that. It helps a lot.
