For those of you who use Logos, in case you don't know, they have been working for about 4 years now on the Qumran Biblical Dead Sea Scrolls Database. That's the digital transcriptions of the Qumran Scrolls, available for the first time digitally. It's $80 if you order it now, if you wait until after it is release it will be $300. http://www.logos.com/pro...ad-sea-scrolls-database
Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

Will this work in standalone, or do you have to have the logos software?

I'm pretty sure it is only a Logos addition. It's a database designed to be accessed by the logos program. A good programmer might be able to write something that could read it, but it is designed to be implemented into your Logos library. Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

I use the Original Languages package, and have purchased a few extra's to add into it. But the OL, is a great start. Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

For those that have logos they are releasing the Qumran biblical scrolls database on the 16th of feb 2011 and right now it is still at it's prepub price. It goes up 200 dollars after it's release I think.

For those who didn't get in on the Pre Order price, it is still on sale, but for $179 instead of $79 which is still cheaper than the $299 price which will be the final. http://www.logos.com/pro...ad-sea-scrolls-database
I've already downloaded mine, and have been looking through it for two days now. It's going to be a great additional tool. Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

I pre ordered it as well but i didn't realize my card balance was full (oops lol) so they sent me an email asking for another form of payment and I can get it for the same pre-pub price. Gave them a call to do that today but they were closed and I can't do it online. Hopefully I will have it by tomorrow, I can't wait. It will be nice not to have to rely on just the DJD series which are like $200+ per volume, my god!
